seattle weddings – pan pacific hotel – sheila and daniel

last saturday was absolutely beautiful – a perfect day for sheila and dan’s wedding… plus, we had a perfect view of the freshly painted space needle from the pan pacific hotel! we all agreed that ‘galaxy gold‘ was in fact orange… no matter what they want you to believe!

during the ceremony, sheila and dan knelt beneath a shawl and one by one, the women came up to grind two sugar pillars together to shower the couple in sweetness and happiness… a pretty cool tradition!

i loved that light coming in the windows during the reception!

my girl! this is going to be a fun summer!

tacoma weddings ~ courtyard marriott ~ soo + jimmy

can i just tell you… right now… how much i LOVE these boys? you know what, i can’t even wait for the answer… i love them *that* much.

funnest. boys. ever.

while jenny was with the ladies at the courtyard marriott, i was up the street at hotel murano with jimmy and his crew.

people… there were hijinks.

flasks are a really popular gift from the groom to his groomsmen… 2nd popular should be a flask funnel; but these boys made do with a paper cup!

the boys hopped in the limo and headed down to the courtyard marriott for the reveal… but not before checking out their awesomeness.

i loved this shot of soo coming up the stairs to meet jimmy…

i took the photo below while jenny did this…

the whole party jumped in the limo to head over to the glass museum!

jenny started with the ladies, while i had some more fun with the boys… they brought some serious swagger.

jimmy’s new in-laws gave him this watch!

then it was time to switch! my turn with the girls… they brought their A-game!

the two shots that follow are my most favorite things ever.

the reception was beautiful with all the bright cheery yellow and white flowers!

woodinville weddings ~ novelty hill januik ~ emily + nick

emily is total sweetness and light and nick has that old crooner look…

i met up with nick and the boys while jenny was with the ladies. i loved this shot of the wedding binder next to the comic books!

see what i mean about nick?!

nick gave all the boys flasks – unfortunately no one had a funnel… but nick’s dad came to the rescue with a makeshift funnel made out of wrapping paper!
